I thought the first time the drone disappeared, it was either a glitch or it was shot or something?
Tried two more times deliberately inside the heat shield to be sure - and yup.... it no work. : (
works exactly like when in storm....works for about 3 seconds then gone. Exactly the same. As if they forgot to adjust for the drone.
Can any of the Devs confirm if this was a mistake or was it meant to not work inside the heat shield?? If it was in fact meant to not work inside the heat shield - can someone provide some sort of explanation as to reasoning behind why it does not work?
Doesn't seem to make sense no matter how I much I try to wrap my head around it.
I play her a lot and this has been happening for some time now, in my experience you have to deploy the shield and wait for at least 1-2 storm ticks b4 you deploy it otherwise it acts like it’s taking storm dmg, this is especially frustrating if you deploy it and a HS right after bc it’s technically no longer in the ring
- @Banzai3819 Oh, interesting. I will try to notice the next time. As I've too had this happen. And other times it deploys fine. E.g. had a game this morning where we're outside zone 4, while fighting some gatekeepers, I'm one tick from dying, throw heat shield, deploy drone, and it worked normally.
