@EdwardDLuffy Quitting at all should count as a death. This would stop the quitting to keep the KD up.
But as @KelRiever has said many times they need to do more to reward not quitting. Stop giving people objectives and levels when they quit matches. Only give stuff when the game ends naturally.
The other option is to play with people you meet which I understand isnt always easy.

@hayhor I've never bothered that much with stats and it was only last season I found out that quitting did not count as a death (as I barely ever quit - only on drop if we're a squaddie short or my TMs do something toxic).
@EdwardDLuffy I'm not so sure that all quits get a ban. Happens a fair bit in ranked with squad banner waiting to be picked up. Think some have figured out a workaround.
Same with loss forgivness to squad on a quitter, downed or banner, dosn't always work.
Conversely, I was in a solo squad gold ranked match, had just found yet another a gold sentinil and was again looking forward to using it. A few squads had passed, when all of a sudden there was a short power cut. **** **! Restarted the xbox in a mad panic as the storm was on it way. Took a minute or so but I was able to rejoin match, just after I had been killed to storm. I had place 7th so thought I had only lost 4 points, but as solo squad I got loss forgivness 😃
