R-99 Melts
So have discovered since last patch the 99 is the gun that literally melts armor in seconds. Looked back at kills on me and using it myself.

Yep. Lowest TTK since the start of the game, wonderful weapon, excellent for close quarters and devastating against people who like to stand completely still.
Some of the posts that call for a nerf on it complain they're getting chunked by it when using a sniper rifle at a distance. Wonder why.
The gun is a joke and ruins the balance of the game.

R99 melts, Peacekeeper melts, Devotion Turbo melts, Charge rifle melts.
Mastiff melts, Kraber melts. xD
- @SpyrosFPS Kraber? Have you seen how long that thing takes per shot? You also have to hit a shot, and then a headshot to 1 shot down someone with even common body armor. And its a gold Care Package weapon. Also, add L-Star and spitfire to that list. LMG's melt
- @CrazyPlays54 if you get melted by the dam spitfire, you need to stop standing still. The rate of fire on that gun blows. I wont even pick it up.
- @aisthebestletter I don't know that it is/does. I prefer the Devotion or even Havoc. So long as I get it spooled up before I go into the fight or have a turbo I typically win the fight. the R-99 unloads its clips so quickly that you can't miss. If I jump around a bit you're probably going to miss, toss in that the Devotion is the highest DPS gun the game..
- @Huntinwabits I agree the only thing good about the spitfire is the mag size and the Flatline is way better.
I love the R99, but I dont see a need in nerfing it anymore - why?
It is not the strongest close range weapon, that is PK.
It is not the strongest medium ranged weapon, that is Wingman.
It is not the strongest long ranged weapon, that is G7 Scout.
Last season, it was the strongest in both medium and close ranged. And indeed it was too powerful.
And as people stated, never stand still and never strafe in the same direction when someone is aiming at you, move sporadically (and if you are reloading, face your head in another direction while moving in an non linear pattern). Since even the Mozambique will "melt" you if you do not have good movement. A good aim can only get you so far, movement however is the key in this game.
Not gonna lie, I love a spitfire or vk-47 early game. Those guns melt people, and the spitfire can let you melt a team without even reloading early game
