@vWhite-Stone100 It's a stable weapon not only in Apex but the whole TF universe. Throughout the history of this game we've seen complaints of the "vaulting" or "please get rid of this weapon" whether that weapon is too strong or has a balance issue compared to other weapons in the game.
The R301 yes is easy to use, but unless you facing an entire squad using it or you're staying completely still during the fight, it's still a gun that can be countered like all other guns. It merely comes down to tactics & skill, plus the dependability of your teammates.
It's a good all around gun, but it's pretty close to balanced IMO. Could it use a bit more recoil? Maybe, but that's all it might need as just a couple seasons ago when the Nemesis dropped people were complaining the R301 wasn't strong enough. Nearly every weapon in Apex has been talked about at some point. This is no different. It'll pass & we'll be talking about another gun next season. So it should stay.

I like the 301 as an all round gun. Decent up close and decent at range with a scope. Cant understand why ppl would think it should be vaulted.
There are plenty other irritant combos, and nothing sucks more then being sniped by a pistol or a shotgun.
When small arms/pistols and shotguns, which not designed for ranged engagements are outclassing a r301, nemesis, flatline, hemlock and others in a fire fight, then something is broken and its not the latter.
The R301 got vaulted a few seasons back and player numbers dropped rapidly.Don't see any issues with the gun, as others have said just a solid all round noob friendly gun😃
@Rye-ScoBut my point is also that there are plenty of good players that use it. And this is year 6. Just how many "new" people really play and stick around?
@WargasmatronWhen you say shotguns outclass it are you referring to one shotgun like the peacekeeper? and with the pistols i can only assume you mean p2020 and i think the p2020 is fine as is. Its a semi pistol so aim and precision are what it takes to make good use of it.
