Rank should have it's own separate queue for solos and 3 man premade

Why is it even possible for solo players to end up in a 3 man premade lobby?
Rank is a place where you can test out your skills against players of similar skills but that point is completely thrown out the window when some teams would have an unfair advantage of being a premade
No wonder people talk about how it's almost impossible for solos to climb up the ladder it's cause the higher you climb the more odds are stacked against you!

As a person who plays 90% of the time with a pre-made squad, I agree.

Based from my observations (not scientific of course), when I’m playing with a premade squad, we’re up against more pre-mades in pubs compared to rank where it seems to be more solo players in bronze-gold. Pubs is way sweatier now for us than ranked. As for plat+ there’s obviously more premades.

@hayhor how is it a punishment? I'm not saying people with friends shouldn't be able to play. I'm just saying even out the playing field atleast for rank.

@Cheese9ManThis is absolutely true. Queing with two friends in pubs will throw you in lobbies that are primarily premades. It’s definitely not a perfect system though, as I often see a premade squad as champion when I solo queue.

It should be noted though, that solo queing does feel different now. The majority of the time, my teammates are either Diamond, Masters or Preds (or clearly a smurf).

So yes, the lobbies are ungodly sweaty, but at least the algorithm is no longer intentionally giving me weak teammates to “balance” the team. So ultimately I stand a better chance against the premades who make it into the lobby somehow.

@Daze623 Because the lobbies are already more difficult with friends due to them already trying to do what you ask. It's ridiculous.

@Cheese9Man Last season is the only one I played more ranked. Both myself and my friends found that even in ranked the sbmm punishment for premades would kick in.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 I too have found my teammates when soloing pubs are better this season. A lot of times I'm the one trying to keep up now.

It's an "unfair advantage" for pre-mades, they should check their pre-made privilege amirite 😃

@hayhor and that's how it should be? Atleast it'll still be fair for premades while making it an even playing field for solo/duo players. There's a reason why high rank players are often playing in a squad and super rarely you'll see someone playing solo in high rank.
