Rank the maps (w/ Broken Moon)

Olympus and WE are back today which means Broken Moon has been in rotation for a week. What’s your current ranking of the 5 BR maps?

Here’s mine:

1. World’s Edge

2. Olympus

3. Broken Moon (maybe because it’s just newer but I guess it’s at par with KC)

4. Kings Canyon

5. The firing range

6. Stormpoint

7. The main lobby

8. arenas (kill ranked arenas)

I like how BM feels to play at but my minor nitpick would be the POIs lack character? They’re all just white buildings. White building with satellite and white building with a rotating harvester at the top. So far I like it in general.

  • I know I'm in the minority here.

    1)  Olympus

    2)  Broken Moon

    3)  Storm Point

    4)  World's Edge

    5)  Kings Canyon

KC is a 5th party fest and I'm sick and tired of hot dropping Fragment on WE.

There really isn't a map I "hate" though.  They all have their good and bad things about them, IMO.

There was a time I would have come up with a ranking on a question like this. But the older the game gets, and the more I play it, the more I'm beginning to feel as if differences in the way maps play are completely trivial. The only thing I don't like is a map that makes it hard to move, and that would be S14 Kings Canyon. I was also a little skeptical of Broken Moon, but that was just because of the initial absence of sbmm. Take the sweats off the map, as they seem to be doing now, and it plays just fine - just like any other map.

  • Taking a break after storm point came out and coming back to Broken Moon is so disappointing, the map looks the same everywhere and the zip rails are just an annoying unused eyesore.
    1. Kings Canyon (THE OG BRING IT BACK)
    2. Worlds Edge (one of the most balanced and fun maps IMO)

3.Olympus (balanced I guess, minus the grow towers final ring)

    4. The Lobby

    5. Broken Moon (boring POIs and super repetitive scenery

    6. Storm Point (literally a giant slope from top right to bottom left which makes positioning atrocious not to mention terrible sightlines)
