I'm pretty sure ranked games are run on exactly the same servers...
Any difference you see is just a figment of your imagination.

@Biochemikas That is cute. Another person blaming a problem on the user. Do you happen to work for EA or just a fanboi?
Anyway, it is clear as day that server performance is hit or miss on regular games and it is pretty much miss any time I drop ranked. The bad performance must just be selective I guess.
Reddit wouldn't be filled with people complaining about server performance if it was our imagination.

I'm not saying server performance is amazing. Some instances of games are completely unplayable for at least 5 first minutes of the games (so clearly the server it's on is heavily overloaded). What I'm saying that there's no difference between normal or ranked games. You just tend to pay more attention to bad instances if you're playing ranked, since you can't even leave that game and have to play whatever you're getting.
- 6 years ago@GRiPSViGiL My guess would be the match making is trying to get you into a game immediately so it finds a lobby out side of your region and matchs you in there and the servers are known to be bad so no high expectations its EA after all.

@SethCurryDoubt it. If that was the case, you wouldn't need to wait forever for a ranked game at night.
