Rats making Season 17 ranked games pointless and frustrating for everyone else

S17 ranked is so frustrating and pointless. Squad mates just keep abandoning the rest of the team right from the drop. They drop in to a remote location, then find a spot to hide in and don't even move or look around unless the end up outside the ring. There is not skill at all in this and it totally ruins ranked for everyone else.

This is one of my recent team mates in ranked (I say team mate, I never saw them again after legend selection). They solo jumped then just camped for the entire game in this spot.

Here's another one. This guy dropped solo and found a rat spot where they remained until the second ring moved away. Funnily enough, they died shortly after to the first team that they encountered. Zero skill and zero team work but I bet they will be a Master level player by next rank - totally meaningless this season. The only reason that they scored any points this game was because me and the other random finished 4th. It was a shame that the rat benefited at all from this match (squad mates name obscured to protect the guilty).
