Re: “Anti-recoil controllers are NOT cheating.”

@Axs5626Sxa5001  Who told you that controllers with recoil control mods are ""not considered cheating" because they don’t manipulate the in-game files"? Whoever it is, I'm confident they are wrong.

Here's a line straight from the terms of service:

An Unauthorized Third-Party Program is a third-party program or file (such as a "add-on", "mod", "hack", "trainer", or "cheat") that EA believes (i) enables or facilitates cheating of any type; (ii) allows users to modify or hack the game interface, environment, and/or experience in any way not expressly authorized by EA; or (iii) intercepts, "mines", or otherwise collects information from or through the game.

It really doesn't matter whether the program is on the controller or the console/PC, its still cheating.

@Zack_L1ghtmanHe fails to understand. Anything that changes a in game mechanic is not accepted. When he alters recoil then he is modifying a in game mechanic and one the biggest the game has. The TOS clearly states so but no one ever reads the agreement they check to play this game. They assume they know it all and the company who designed said rules are wrong. The TOS is quite clear on this and is written as below.

    Don’t cheat in-game
We want the Apex Legends play experience to be fair and fun for everyone. Cheating is against our rules. Cheating can include, but isn’t limited to, using third-party software, like aimbots, wallhacks, and other similar cheats to gain an unfair advantage over other players.

    Cheating includes:

Performing in-game exploits and abusing glitches or bugs.
Stat padding (abusing game features the way they aren’t supposed to be used to artificially stack scores). Using software or cheat tools that disconnect other players from the EA servers.
In-game cheating is not fair play and hurts the experience for the players you’re playing against.

Third party software is Xim, Cronus, Strikepacks. While it also includes actual third party applications to aimbot and more. I hope they ban him as he openly admits to this mod.

  • @E9ine_AC The subject of the thread is misleading, but @Axs5626Sxa5001 has not admitted to using illegal mods - if anything they seem to be strongly against the use of these mods and is frustrated that other players are getting away with using them.

I honestly don’t remember exactly where I read this, but I had assumed it was true. I know a handful of players who have and are still using anti-recoil mods— so I assumed that it is in fact true that Respawn isn’t banning these people.

My assumption is that a large portion of the console community in Diamond, Masters, and Pred are in fact using anti-recoil. I have pretty good aim and I have a decent grasp on when someone is lasering from distances that just don’t make sense.

Of course its cheating. Do you remember how OP the Havoc was because it had no recoil and people could beem from it  miles away, it was so easy to get kills, so they had to nerf it and give it big recoil. I can imagine how strong the Flatline would be with no recoil also and the devotion also.

If you dont think its cheating, you need help. The devs put more recoil on some of these guns because of how strong they are, if you take the recoil away, its way too easy to kill people.

As someone who just plays with the standard PS4 controller I in no way consider people who have paddles to be cheating. Couldn't care less. People who use no-recoil mods though clearly are cheating as, already stated by numerous people in this thread, alters game mechanics. I still prefer these i***ts though to what I see PC players on Twitch to be up against, that kind of cheating is something else! What they see in every other game these past days I've literally only been subjected to 2 times since season 2. Both times I was one of the last to die so I couldn't spectate and record the really sus stuff that went on, so even then I can't be really sure.

  • @CCbathwater Diamond+ PC lobbies are something else man. The comparison is drastic, I come across like 20 blatant cheaters each season but when I watch ShivFPS he comes across multiple cheaters in one day. Makes me appreciate Plat lobbies lol
  • @hayhorMy man I don’t wanna burst your bubble but it won’t be much better on console sadly, there are youtubevideos on how to setup Cronus with over 250k views

Im not sure if ea could make theese channels take down thoose videos but they seem to not try...neither are they really addressing that issue

cuz for starters they could ban all the accounts that theese channels play on cuz they are cheating right ? I mean they show ingame how to set it up... get an admin on that channel and ban all their accounts permanently that they used in their videos

@matzesingt I've played with PC players on apex and I can say I saw a lot more cheaters in those few sessions than I see in thousands of console only games. Once a week I play warzone which mixes everyone together. I see way more cheaters in one session of that than console only sessions of apex.

I'm not saying there are no cheaters. That would be silly. I'm just saying PC is a lot worse, easier and seemingly more accepted as the way it is.

Primary because on console its very hard to tell. All the devices are making your aim to look legits as it gets.

It just add stronger aim assist, and reduce the recoil, but there is still some shaking left-right-up on the crosshair.

Even if you use the controller image(or whatever it is) where its shows the input, Cronus control the right stick, like you are doing it to compensate for the recoil.

Playing on controllers on its own, have a bit, how to call it .... a bit of artifical looking aim, same for the recoil. And this things doesn`t looks more artifical. Its like you are fair as it gets.

You spot more cheaters on PC, cause thats the blatant ones, and you don`t need much to spot it. Its obvious right away. The case is not the same with soft cheaters. Both on PC and on Console.

    Its full of them.

E9ine_AC, sorry to disagree, its super easy. No more than 5 minutes, and information is on the first page on google or youtube.

I know for sure 2 people that are using it from the whole beginning, they just change it pretty much every season, and no one so far is getting banned.

I also know a person that have site for paid macros, and he have thousands of customers(yeah Apex), and he claim that a lot of top streamers are using as well, and they don`t have a single customer banned for that, and they function from 2019.

What i see is that Respawn are banning just the obvious ones, that are using aimbotting.

Again you are totally dodging my posts, but while ago, like 6-7-8 months someone get caught or it was that he messed up or he by himself said it that he is using macros on Fortnite. It was a streamer, and a pro player who then pretty much call that most of the top streamers are using macros.

Similar thing in Warzone. A guy was permanent banned with the huge cheating ban wave for using Engine Owning, he was a streamer, he was kinda medium one(not the biggest), and he was of course denying it, and wanted to be unbanned, cause he was falsely banned and all that nonsense, but after that he was start calling top top streamers and calling them cheaters. He start talking about whitelisting and pretty much threatened Activision that he will open his mouth as what`s going on behind the scene.

Just watch his channel, he is telling it all, reverse boosting, macros, smooth aimbots, how the streamers are going for World Records, ESP, protected ones and so on.

And the so call permanent ban on Warzone is just for 14 days, after that you can make a new acc and everything is fine ....

Should i even mention this guy, that was screaming how good he is at the game, and that he got a good recoil control, and the d..... showing his process on Task Manager, just to ..... up and show his Engine Owning ....
