Re: Apex is banning players for t-bagging!

@pandareno1999 Reading that was fun, I don’t know why people are now getting banned for something that has been an in game thing forever. I think it’s just now getting attention, because of the name. Let’s just rename it squat spamming, because the enemy obviously didn’t know squat. Let’s see if they ban people for squat spamming, lol 🙄

@BigMacAttack8u As related in the article i just linked, there is a certain segment of the gaming population which directly equates t-bagging with sexual assault.

@pandareno1999I saw that, it’s stupid, these characters do not have any parts. It is not assault, also it is done on a death box. There is no way that this banable in any form. This is not part of any categories, it as a celebration, and as you know those ARE allowed in sports, and it is impossible for excessive celebration in a VIDEO GAME! This is all so absurd.

@pandareno1999 that is taking it a bit far imo. But I do consider teabagging vulgar and don't do it, I also encourage yt not to do it either. I celebrate a win by shooting off clips into the air 😃

@OldTreeCreeper Someone who knows the origin of this action. It's funny how people think it's just someone spamming crouch these days.

@Daze623 Lots of kids have no idea. My neighbor overheard her son say it and had to explain the meaning. lol

@hayhor I understand the meaning, I just think it has evolved in gaming to be better than that. I see it as harmless, as the person is dead. I do not do it, but I don’t want to see people banned for it.

This thread proves that something not true, but sounding true and inciting panic, travels way faster than a fact.

@BigMacAttack8u I disagree. It clearly has not evolved as it is an intended disrespectful taunt aimed at a defeated player.

Should someone do it and be unaware of what it means.. well ignorance has never been a defence.

@OldTreeCreeper I concede, I almost never t bag, I am also one of those who likes to waste ammo upon victory, I just felt that maybe people had evolved, obviously not.

@BigMacAttack8u I pretty much only do it on Halo, and have been doing so since Halo:CE, Lol. I don't go overboard though, like some people. Just a quick little 1-tap on the way by, since they spectate their dead body while waiting to respawn on Halo. On Apex, I either jump off the map, or into lava, or just sprint away from the ring to celebrate a win. Sometimes I'll fire off a few rounds, but I usually just try to die somehow

@OldTreeCreeper I have won, with my entire team doing no damage. (Full pre-made, on mics, and it was fantastic lol) we won, because we all had heat shields, and one of us had a golden knockdown. We also had a loba market tho, we looted more heat shields.

There is more news to this, the organizers that banned for t-bagging actually got their twitter account suspended! I love happy endings lol

@OldTreeCreeper I'll freely admit, I would have been shooting the heck out of their boxes and practicing my fast crouching.  You earned it!! You handily cleaned that team's respective clocks.  I don't find it BM in most circumstances, but I love that you have a code and stick to it.

  • @MrCarri-X Their account got mass reported by the community hence the the suspension.

I’m a tea bag connoisseur myself especially against 3 stacking try hard preds/masters.

    @Cheese9Man loool Tbag connoisseur 😂
I too, like to bag. If I find someone cringe, I will bag. In Control I will even take a death just to run 20m into the open to shoot your body while you're still on your death-screen. I remember this time I was R301'ing up at waterfalls at Hammond, at everyone coming out through the door down at the lab, shooting at my teammates. Then there's this Valk player, who's already pretty cringe from just playing Valk, who ults up on me. Well, she got her *** handed to her and bagged. Then she comes back on foot/dumb flying, just insta pushes me again after respawning somewhere, again she dies and is having a proper Lifeline baggin' done on her body. Okay, 30 seconds later she comes back again, would you believe it(!). Well, she dies again and this time I think I bagged so hard that she got droned and ult'ed on top of the shooting. Anyway, now she got the message and stopped pushing me.
Another time I got Valk ult'ed up there by three people. Not fighting that, so just ran away and came back a minute later to find the Valk still there. Killed her and then proceeded to bag.
Bagging so much that I had someone on Control write me something like "lol bronze player bagging". So I naturally had to write back and proudly tell him that I was actually a Rookie IV. Just don't have a badge to put on my profile yet. Will have one tomorrow though, can't wait. 🥳
