Re: Apex Legends - Refine Arenas Abandon Penalty

We don't have time for rational solutions. The whole penalty system is in dire need of reform. Probably won't happen, AFK/toxic/leaving penalty systems aren't sexy and does not rake in money.

It's quite amusing to see how other games (like LoL) that have a reputation for garbage systems SOMEHOW are still light years ahead of EA. In that game if someone AFKs long enough you can vote surrender without any penalties to the affected team.

To rely on noobs who think cod rules apply and bolt action sniper is more viable at close range than r99 to vote ? I don't want that pain apex, I seen enough of it on RoCo. Anything else but voting.

It's just an example. I don't think Apex needs voting either, games are far too short for that. If there is a confirmed disconnect I do not see why it would be an issue to have a stop-gap to give other players to leave with a flat L or no rewards/xp given without any matchmaking bans.
