Re: Chronus users

So if you can't beat em, join em?

Cause eventually if they don't address the cheating, the few legit players left that still hold integrity will have only 2 options.

Either, quit, uninstall and give up .... or .... give in and purchase the cheats and continue playing the game they love. Then as someone said on here in the past, it will eventually just be a BR Hack Fest, where whoever has the best cheats and can use them the best will dominate.

@ComicBookGuy2727 Those devices are 100% bannable. The bigger issue is detecting them. While another company has released statements and a system that can detect them there is no real way of knowing how or what it is it may be detecting.

To see those devices would require a very very intensive scan of the entire pc looking for firmware and other things. A lot of the worlds players (In my opinion) value privacy and would not consent to such an depth scan.

AI machine learning anti cheat is already a reality, it's not scanning the system, or interfering with privacy, it's simply watching the game play, and making comparisions between how cheating looks, compared to human interaction, and then adapting and learning and catching cheating in this manner.

  • @E9ine_AC Scanning the usb ports is intensive scanning ? Cmon man…

valorant anticheat has to be on permanently and if you turn it off you have to restart the pc.
and valorant is still bigger than apex by a lot, yea people complained in the beginning but they accepted it.

@BallisticMVP It is more than just scanning usb ports. Once it does see there is something in that port then it has to do more scans to see what the name of the device it then it scans to see what it is this device is doing. Anyone can mask a usb ports plugin. So in order for it to fully see whats going on it has to break things down into details.

I am sure it wont be long before those creators to simply change how the input is read.

@AnyBrains AI anti cheats have existed for ages. Those automated bans and such is AI. Problem will always be some creators stay steps ahead.

I'd love nothing more then all of them being yeeted out of the game. But, if these devices were so easy for AI to detect we would see that. Instead there has only been 1 game out at this time that claims to detect those devices which is Call of Duty. If its true or not im not sure not a game i play and not a device i use.

I'm talking about 'Maching Learning AI' anti cheat. I don't believe any company has done so previously. Around two years ago, I'm aware of only one company that started this, and is still presently working on this.
