Re: Fortnite, or Apex

@OldTreeCreeper You spies and your intellectual superiority mixed with improved abilities. No wonder you guys run the world.

Look at that. Even your descendents are getting top marks in killing :P

@OldTreeCreeper So what you’re telling me is that I should become a spy cause I like killing and using abnormal abilities? Thank you for the advice. But I will decline, I don’t think that line of work is cut out for me.

  • I too enjoyed Fornite right from launch until season 7-8 when it felt like the same over and over.

I still play it and more so recently because of the amazing star wars event it had including the release of iconic character skins and emotes šŸ˜ƒ Being Kylo Ren in there with a Lightsaber is something I never thought would happen.

Apex provides me with the joy and excitement I need in fast pace games with the addition of being able to use my skill to show off how good I am. Taking down a whole squad while your teammates touch eachother in a corner gives me a good feeling, until I continue to do it over and over and eventually hop off.

Both games are awesome but only in certain areas. Apexs is fun to jump in and overall just play and enjoy but lacks cosmetics that I wish it had more of, the release of new finishers would help a lot or allowing the purchase of common items through the free currency we earn.

Fornites cosmetics and emotes blows it outta the park but the gameplay itself is still the same since when I stopped playing. The difference now is more players know how to utilize it vs just building a wall to stop a few bullets. Going up against someone who sweats at the first shot is not appealing to me.

@Koochi-Q the way of the creeper is a long road requiring much patience, if called for (ie camping followed by creeping), do you have it in you? Also pattern recognition and rembering, based on playing loads of games from the '80s gives one a better perspective šŸ˜› than the gung ho ninjas of today!

@OldTreeCreeper I don’t have much patience... and I can camp but don’t want to... unless it’s absolutely necessary...

Pattern recog and remembrance I’ve learned from all the horror stuff I’ve ever done so in that department I excell the masters. The patterns of 80’s games were too predictable... the early 2000’s tho, they required patience so if that’s the only requirements, I’m ready teacher!

@Koochi-Q perhaps I mean more figuring out the patterns. You can dress up the games but i see both the micro and macro  patterns in the programming easily, its like debugging a program visually. It allowed me to get to diamond last season, with patience and I had a lot of fun.

Theres nothing I like better than being put in a game with no squaddies and my aim is to get to top 3,  for me this can get very sweaty and tense šŸ¤”

Prerequisites of the "club" also include a knowledge of chess and backgammon and an ability to play Red Baron for hours on end on one coin.
