But doesn't the controller require both hands to be even usable? I've never even tried one, but I imagine 1-hand should feel awkward. Maybe gaming keypads would be more up your alley then (with analog stick, something like Logitech G13 maybe)? I've never used one of those either, so no idea how they actually feel or if compatibility is not a problem (shouldn't be though, since you could just map actual keyboard keys to them anyway).

    Using a joypad for movement only is very doable and comfortable. I rest the joypad on my lap, using the stick for movement purposes with my left thumb.. The dpad to change to grenades and healing also with my left thumb. There are some videos on youtube with players using this setup.
    An analog stick would not work in my opinion because the actual stick may require more force to control and forcing you to hold it with your right hand.
