@unogobangbang2 It absolutely solves it by making people think twice about poor decisions. If we played together and you purposely run into enemies, I will run the other way, not revive you, and laugh when you quit because you didn't get any stats. See how that works? 🙂

Like I said it solves nothing.
@unogobangbang2 It solves the issue of stat-chasers infesting every game. They either play like regular people or get stuck on their banners. Nobody else has a problem besides the solo players lol.
It still does not force people to play on your team. They can simply run into enemies get themselves killed and still get to keep their stats. They could go off on their own which is the same as quitting because they are still not part of the team and their stats are not affected. You simply can not force people to play with you.
What aren't you understanding...? Just because you run off and get killed doesn't mean you keep your stats. This post was to suggest if you leave at any point before all your teammates have been killed, you will not get stats. You can run away and become a crate, but if we don't come get your banner quick enough and you leave before we're dead, you don't get stats. Going off on your own only results in two things - 1. You sit there and watch your teammates, or 2. You leave and get penalized. No game stats. Nobody's forcing you to quit. 🙂

I don’t think anything can really be a 100% fix to this problem as it comes down to the individual player. But having things like this in place can encourage someone to work as part of a team if they know they will be penalised. Also In saying that, I don’t understand why people would play a Team game and then go off solo and do their own thing🤷🏼♀️

@unogobangbang2 Well I guess you're on the wrong thread because that's not the suggestion here. 🙂

You are correct.
But why would you play a team based game, to run off on your own, die, quit and start another game if you were not to accumulate stats? Most hot droppers do the die, quit rinse repeat to pad their kill stats. The solution in the OP would HELP reduce this behaviour imo. If you still decide to play that way fine, but why you would is a complete mystery.
Judging by your responses you don't have a proper answer. What you are saying is pretty much "I know you are, I said you are but what am I" playground mentality of a 4 year old.
Nobody can be forced. That is plain obvious. But people can be encouraged to play properly. If you decided to be to stubborn fine, but for every 1 of you, 10 may start to play properly. That's a win in my book.
I am the someone in another post :eahigh_file: Ty for supporting @jonesy0218
As long as I get their banner, they have to stay in the game if they want their stats count. It may not be a 100% solve but it will affect those who prefer to focusing kill farming instead of focusing winning. Leaver problem will be greatly reduced.
Join&leave logic behind a team game should be like this; If we can join a game in the middle of the game session then we can leave too. but if it is not possible to join a game in the middle of the game session then it should not be possible to abondon your mates and leave too. Because when someone leave, you can't get someone to fill in.
If you don't want to play with random peoples then wait for your friends... if you dont want to play with anyone then don't play APEX. Because this game designed as a team BR. This is a team based game just accept this... can you play LoL without a team? No, because its a team based game too.
Do you want to play solo BR then there are a lot of solo br games, go play them...
Do you want to play run&gun then there are lot of TDM games, go play them...
Do you want to be selfish egoist lone wolf hero then there are a lot of games that suit you, go play them...
APEX is a Fast-Paced Team Based Battle Royale Game people have to accept it. Just stop trying to convert the game to your own fashion. Accept it or leave it!

IMO it will reduce nothing. You just have to be the type of player that others want to play with. Develop your people skills and they will stick around.

First of all, thank you for using "IMO." It means you're not trying to bark random garbage as truth.
Second - "Develop your people skills?" This isn't a job, first of all. And also, not everyone has a mic. Ultimately, it comes down to team etiquette. Nothing more, nothing less.
