Keep getting 3rd partied
Almost every game, I die because of people running up immediately after I finish a fight and clap my whole team's cheeks into next Tuesday. I was wondering if there's some map positioning or strategi...
Bad players 3rd party
I don't get to squad up often but the rule is if you can't finish a team in 30 seconds retreat and regroup. It's smart to 3rd party and that pretty much is the MO for any team BR game I suppose. It is getting old though. That is why I prefer good ole 64 player Conquest over anything.

Pretty much this.
Kill quicker or get out.
Being 3rd partied is part of any BR game.
You can't afford long engagements in any BR game.

Yeah, i usually wait till i see the other team gather around lifelime, heal and pop shields, make sure theyre full health! As Bangalore i pop a smoke to signal battle commence! Everyone ready?!
@ArcaneMagicianYou’d think that and you might be right, but it’s all kinds of ppl third party. Especially smarter ones who can do it successfully. If you’re not competent on brain or hand department you’ll likely get killed while third party’ing. Why you ask? Well:
1) either you went too late and the team you were trying to third party already healed up
2) you rush over even tho you’re 200+ meter away and the party you were trying to third party is already being third party’d and you know what they say, three’s a crowd, four’s a... hmmm heard so many stuff pertaining to four so I’ll leave that blank :P
3) you rush over too fast so you’re actually 3rd partying but get killed by one or both squads who think ‘you wanna third party us?! Well we’ll double team you!!!’
4) you end up catching them healing but since you didn’t pay attention you get third partied
@iBlockHead that’s one way to do it but alot of randoms still suck and end up shooting the same guy for over 30 seconds while missing all his shots... what I do is slide ever so soft and creepily... then when I’m 50m from that whole team, I start screeching like a banshee... they’ll get scared and confused cause they wanna know what that is. Then suddenly teammates of them start dying without them even know whats happnening (yes happnening). Then to turn up the creepy factor, I suddenly get the aura of the devil while saying the equally creepy: ‘I bathe in thze blød’ and start killing/destroying everything indiscriminately. Soldiers, robots, flyers, leviathans, hell I’ve even been known to destroy servers and forcing them to give players Code Leaf and Code Net. Why you think they call it that... you have to leave the internet! xD cool story huh :P
Its super bad in ranked. Thats all people know how to do because they are scared to lose their rank. Respawn needs to remove the 5 kill point cap because it just encourages people to try and wait til the end then just get one or two kills. If it was removed then people could play really aggressive and get 8 or 9 kills and still rank up really fast. Even if they don't win matches.
Map and ring rotation will prevent most 3d-partying. I rarely get 3d partied, but I don't rush from bad angles and I simply rotate so that I´m not ending up in the middle of the map / ring. I do see a lot of people rushing into fights when they haven't scouted behind them - simply for them to die by another team rotating in from the edge. Also if you are unsure of team positions/rotations - simply let a few shots out and see if there are teams lurking.
When I do get 3d partied its often my own fault, the fights took too long to end.
@JDOGMcFUZZL agreed, it would make ranked more enjoyable.

LMAO.. We have a hero here. It's a good tactic. Bad players get third partied 😉
To the OP: @Sway_Junk1 Evaluate the situation and see if there are other teams heading over to third party. Wait for them to engage, wait to see if anybody else shows up, then jump in. It cannot always be prevented, but I see to many teams jump straight into combat when there is another team in view.
Either kill quick, wait and evalute the situation, or engage and be prepare to get out othere sharpish if another team rolls up. This confuse them, they end up fighting the original team, you can heal up and jump back in.
