- @Cheese9Man it is not cheating but I say many and I mean many are using recoil control, either Cronus or other 3rd party apps for this. So many players w/o recoils running around and nothing suggest they are controlling the recoil. it is not just Apex now tho.
- @Cheese9Man Depending on what you consider cheating, just looking at the popularity of strikepack videos on youtube, and reading theese commentsections its pretty clear that there will be ALOT of strikepack users out there
- @Cheese9Man I just ran a stream. I'll do more. Tailseer. Of 7 people, only 2 didn't
- Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace@WreckingVi what do you mean by "it is not cheating"?!
Everything that comes from an external source - hardware or software - and alters game performance is considered a cheat.
Only point of discussion might be your monitor / GPU settings that as we know now can considerably increase contrast in Apex making it so much easier to spot and hit enemies. Games like Quake allowed such tweaks via console commands that were openly available and described. Apex on the other hand does not (even though you can see on youtube that such commands are available in-game code) so people use whatever they can to trim off the noise of Apex maps.
Not to mention the next step that many gaming monitors provide - on-screen crosshair and other stuff...that's all officially is considered a hack.
