Yeah, that's my question.
I heard about it on reddit, so decided to log in last night on the PS4 (the ~20 level account) to try it out.
I saw nothing where ping/FramesPerSecond would give any more or less advantage than usual.
What I did quickly find was the frustration in not being able to ping a SINGLE weapon without it turning into some version of the Mozambique. That got old fast.
Matchmaking was still terrible, where there was only one "good" match where my squad got carried so hard by an obvious Wraith Smurf (14 kills at level 6? Yeah.... sure, you're new...). In addition to fixing Matchmaking, they need to figure out a way to tag your Alternate Accounts (IP tracing as a baseline) and put them in the same lobbies as your main.
So, yeah, 5 matches, none good. No reason to really log in again until the next season, at the least. If ever.
If only there was single player content in the pipeline that would respect my time that I might consider paying for. But rEAspawn is making it clear they don't want Type 5 players in this game at all cause we don't churn like Type 4's and suffer like 3's for the Type 1 and 2 players to "use for content."
I'm sad that I missed this... I love weird LTM's like this
