FYI, before the SBMM craze, it was full with:

- lots of players complaining about being teamed up with players of either too low or too high skill level, resulting in toxicity and failure;
- many players tired of being melted unfairly over and over again by pro players coming in to drop 20 bombs and 4K damage (pub stomping);

Also,  YT and other streaming channels were filled with dozens of  20+ kill 4K+ damage videos daily.

    @DoYaSeeMe And watch as the core base of dedicated players leave. SBMM in a BR game that depends on RNG to obtain weapons and gear is a recipe for anger. In other games where everyone has the same gear at the start it doesn't matter as much. Another issue is that as you get better so do other players which creates a zero sum game. It's not fun.
