Re: Pay-to-win G7 in the store

@Cheese9Man I don't really get the hype around the "pay-to-win" skins on here. The actual reticle/crosshair tab is the same. The one on the right just looks more clunky, with all the extra bulk. The actual sight looks the same on both though, to me. Same with the Wingman and Flatline skins and other skins that supposedly improve the irons. I must be missing something...

@dSKyNafinchin Some of them make a real difference, others not so much, and I reckon it would differ by the individual. The PK, in particular, is significantly better for me with the Lone Star sights (and unless I find a digi, no sight is going to go on my PK). The R99, for example, I imagine is far better for just about everyone with the sights that don't have the circle shaped front sight. The issue with weapons with crappy sights is that when you line up your reticle, the sights obscure the target so much that it's hard to see the difference between hitting or almost hitting. I'd say the G7 is the worst offender in this department, but there are no skins with sights that improve on this aspect. It's not too hard to hit body shots with it, but for headshots you almost cannot see the target at all. JMHO.

@pandareno1999I think I'm the only person in the world that hip fires the PK most of the time 🤣 My buddies will die and end up on me and go how the heck do you keep hitting 90s without aiming!

@hayhor I mean... I guess I can kind of see that? The bulkiness below the sight has never bothered me. It's the ones that are fully encompassed that cause problems with my aim, like the Hemlock and whatnot. I feel like the Spitfire is the same way, but can't remember for sure.

I'm getting better with the PK, finally! I stopped trying to ADS so much with it, and mainly try to hip fire, like you said. It's been working pretty well for me. I still get plenty of low damage shots, but I'm hitting better shots more frequently with it, so I'll take that. Wingman as well.

@pandarano1999 The ones with the full circle are the ones that cause problems for me, so I suppose I can understand that. The Scout sight was confusing me though, since it doesn't have that issue, and it's more the bulk below the sight. Different strokes, for different folks! I don't really notice the iron sights a whole lot, because I have my weapon skins set to random favorite, with my favorites selected. I do that with Legends too. I get bored when I run the same skin over and over. I gotta have some variety, Lol!

@dSKyNafinchin I think everyone would prefer something that takes up less space on their screen. If you're aiming somewhere and there's multiple enemies, you want to be able to see more to see what is going on (more information).

@pandareno1999 yep, correct. Weapons like the G7 need a scope attachment. On the other hand, there are some other weapon skins that are significantly better than others. Like you said, the R-99 is a perfect example. I've picked up R-99's with skins I don't have, and it's actually better than having a 1x laser sight.

@swift07 You can craft one of those skins any time - they're the ones with the big tubes on the left hand side. Non-craftable ones are the S7 reactive skins and Zero Point from the S4 BP.

@pandareno1999 I'm talking about the R-99 with the iron scope that looks like it has the red dot on it.

Here's a video showing zero point, and a screenshot of the S7 BP skin that I took for you.  They both have a red dot (well, mine is bright yellow).

@pandareno1999 hm...they're both legendary. Of course they are. 1200 to craft them. I don't have that much crafting materials, so I don't think I'll craft them now.
