Re: Pc players in apex
@VersusGravity Not sure what causes the bad hit reg/networking, but right, it has been an ongoing issue, and other cases can be explained as straight up cheating.
The only time I play with or against pc players is in mixtape. In gun run for instance, there are matches where one pc player is allowed in to balance the match, and when that player is on my team it is an instant win 100% of the time, no matter how the other 2 of us play, which is why I always sigh relief when I see the pc symbol on our team instead of someone else's. When a gun run has only console players, sure I may lose, but it is always a fun competitive match where you can't spot the winner until the final few guns.
I'm not saying buying a pc automatically makes you unstoppable in apex. I'm buying one right now in fact, but I plan to play fair and square without any unfair advantages. I think pc players in mixtape are more likely to have cheats installed that allow the things I mentioned in the previous posts, which is why things happen like in the gun runs. Cheating as a console player requires a box they purchase and run scripts with, so it seems like that can also be an issue, but it is my understanding the pc players don't require this. For instance, moderators on here have said setting configuration buttons to perform more than one action is a bannible offense in multiple threads. I don't think console players can do this.
