Re: Please Increase Ranked Admission Requirement Cap

@Vdstrk Its perfect as it is imo. Maybe level 50 would be reasonable. Level 50 is when every player would know the basic of the game. This would probably stop some smurf acc in ranked and some hackers. Reaching level 500 for any casual player would be very long and I myself who been playing since season 0 and play apex just for fun and not as much im only at level 384.

Yep, 500 may be pushing it, I agree. I am not level 500 either, and it would be ok for me to wait.
I believe that apex is a casual game first and foremost. At least it is as long as a level 10 can play ranked 🙂.
I think that the separation between casual gaming and competitive gaming should be steep enough, but not prohibitive. I think that if a player is more on the casual side of gaming, that player would still enjoy Apex in Pubs, and maybe enjoy more wins that way than in a competitive environment.

This is my personal take on the competitive aspect of any game. It is a matter of choices. Some players such as NRG Rogue, NRG Sweetdreams, TSM Snip3Down, TSM ImperialHal etc made the decision of investing their time primarily in gaming, and in Apex specifically. And so did other players at any given level. Those are the players I consider competitive --they gave up on other career possibilities to pursue one in gaming.
Most people, including very good players, do not have the time to be competitive. Either cannot afford it financially, or they already invested in other types of careers for which switching over to gaming would cause hardships even if temporarily and most likely would not be worth it because of their skill level --their call ultimately.
I don't believe that a very good player in pubs should be overlooked simply because that player can only play pubs --since his life is invested elsewhere.
IMO it is not a matter of prestige playing ranked, it is a career choice that often drives excellent player to secure financial gains through winning competitions and most often through streaming.

My bottom line. (TL:DR of sort).
There is nothing wrong with playing pubs up to a certain level. If a person would make it a career of gaming, then time is not a problem.
Else, a player is only a casual gamer, and being prevented for a bit longer from measuring up against professional should not be discouraging in any ways. We have that in well established sports. I doubt I could ever play against the Dallas Cowboys, they are top professionals, I am only a casual --and being a casual is perfectly fine (as lojng as a person has fun).
