Re: Sadly becoming a casual game...

@Vellexar @Koochi-Q This is true.  But I'd argue that these problems don't make it a casual game, they make it a bad game.

Casual players want to play good games too.  They don't want to have the option to log in alone and be so screwed over by the way the game works.  I get it, it is a battle royale, you're supposed to come and go as you please.  Having said that, it is ungodly frustrating without team fills, and the lack of encouragement to work as a team.

The whole game industry approach is to blame players, making it your job to find friends to play with. It really ignores the game components, however, that encourage bad play which is completely game company stuff.

I kind of shrug it off tho, at this point. I mean, it's really always been this way since launch.  By now I've decided I kind of like Apex with its flaws, and yeah, it means I'm basically playing a solo game even in ranked, getting my * kicked often but not before I'm top 5 so I advance to the rank I want.  There's a lot to like about Apex so its got more pros than *.

Still....team fill is really, really bad.
