Re: Season-9: Arena or Battle Royale ?

I'm not playing Arena unless, despite my predictions, it is unbelievably great.  Came to this to play BR, and frankly, even BR hasn't carried the day as far as interest is concerned lately.

I want this game to sort of play like it is advertised, but like Fortnite, it really isn't.  Win or Lose, it feels more rng than it does death defying intricate combat game.

Playing Borderlands 3 with its awful story but great game play, 3rd time through, has lately proved to be the better experience, though the games aren't the same.  I can't play two video games at once and right now, old BL3 is winning versus new Apex.

Apex is like that, I suppose.  You watch videos for tooth and nail game matches and experiences.  But 3v3 or BR, it's just a sort of who gets the drop 1st, and who has the less stupid team mates.  You really can't carry solo much in Apex...though I try my best.  Too much lull and time and grind between epic battles here.  I'm just looking forward to Season 9 to see what is different with the new character in bR mode.
