Being stationary and playing fly the uav with an emp is damn boring.

I would actually main him for a bit if they did but Respawn have their own idea of what's fun and balanced.Quick controls for the drone would be cool, one that makes it hover above him would be the best option. It would give away your position but target the enemies as your fighting and relocating. Might be hard to use in buildings though.
To make him on par with with top legend I think he really only needs two things, remove the damage done to his own shields during the ultimate emp, and give the camera either a 360 degree view or increase the distance where it will mark enemies for you.
Yeah I think he camera range distance can be a bit short. Another idea, while in flight mode Crypto can tag an enemy that the drone must follow / track. If line of sight breaks, the drone assumes the player is hidden at the last point of seeing him (unless he is seen again by the drone) so that'll allow players who are tagged to easily break the follow but it could be a cool mechanic for crypto to work with
