Re: Smurf for solos to Masters on new input got banned

Thank you for your answer.

I bought the account on g2a just for bdg3 from a trusted seller.

How do I get banned by EA while buying a fresh STEAM account.

Also what do you mean I am not beeing honest?  I told you everything to my best knowledge of this situation. Is there something specific missing what explains it or is something I say not true in ur opinion?

    @KahlerKarl33

    Honestly buying accounts is dishonest.

    From Steam:

Steam accounts cannot be bought or sold. An account is for the personal use of its creator only.

Any attempt to gain access to someone else's account is considered account theft. Accounts which have been bought, sold or traded will be restricted. This includes any type of scam targeting a Steam user over Steam Chat or other systems outside of Steam, or deliberately submitting false information to Steam Support.

Trusted seller? They are not legally allowed to sell an account, what is there to trust? Criminals?

Selling a steam account is against Steams user agreement.

Purchasing illegal accounts is against EA's ToS.

Honestly it hurts to think about how people do this a wonder what they did wrong and why their accounts get blocked.

    This is just sad.

"In this case, the games can only be played through the account.
In other words, the Steam user purchases not the game as such, but the game in combination with the functions and services provided continuously through the individual Steam account.
These additional functionalities and services are individualized, and they do not fall under the rule of copyright exhaustion.

Thus, Steam’s policy of prohibiting the transfer of user accounts does not come into conflict with the principles of (German and European) copyright law."

@KahlerKarl33The issue here is that they simply close down the account, you still kinda own the software you just can’t use it anymore 🤪

You are not the first that came up with attempts like this, you agreed to it when you accepted the terms of service, they can ban you because the sky is blue. In the end it’s their platform and they decide who is allowed to use it. Theese big companies like steam/valve are not stupid.. they have whole departments full with lawyers.

  • Damn I could not find that anywhere but thank you i looked everywhere but its weird how open the market is here for these accounts with selling sites beeing active for over 20 years
