Re: Switch the select fire hop up

@NaRnIaaaEach hop-up needs to be attachable to two weapons. After the Devotion was switched to a care package weapon, the turbo-charger couldn't really stay in game if it only fitted the Havoc, and there isn't any other weapon it would work with.

The select fire wouldn't fit the Hemlock at all. You can already change the fire mode on the Hemlock, we don't need the means of having another boring full auto AR, and the select fire on the Havoc is actually beast, doing almost as much damage as the Sentinel without the bullet drop or varying travel time.

[Edit: ok after testing the select fire in FR, it does 60 at medium range and about 50 at long range. So not as good as the Sentinel but still a viable sniper.]

One hop-up that might work for the Hemlock (and could be used with the Sentinel) is one that increased the firerate of the single fire and/or reduces the time between each burst/increases the firerate of each bust.

@ExtremejinksThey could have had the turbo charger fit the L-star..

I'm not a huge fan of the hop up system. Some guns are really dependent on them to be viable. P2020, PK and triple take really need the choke.

So you're in a position in which you pick up the hop and clog room in limited inventory.. Carrying it around hoping you find the gun that needs it. If the gun requires multiple attachments such as the Triple Take you have to either carry another sniper or the other attachments in your inventory. Then there is the ammo aspect of it.

I have been in positions in which I carried the attachments for a triple take through the first 2 rounds and never found one. During that entire time I was having to sacrafice nades, ammo or heals just to carry them.

I have also been in the position in which I find the PK attachments. But only have heavy/light guns. So I carry them around, find the PK but then can't find any ammo for it.

The only time I really opt for guns that require attachments now are with the prowler because I can carry a flatline and the hop up attachments won't clog inventory. But in general I try to avoid guns that require hop ups. It's just a pain in the neck to deal with. Toss in there are other guns that are just as good and don't require them. IMO the Longbow is a better gun than the triple take.
