Purchasing Apex packs & Skins is fine and all but doesn't feel like progression to me...

That twitter comment just feels like a very "disconnected from reality" moment to me...

I cannot agree more.

I find that statement almost insulting. I would wager that the OVERWHELMING majority of players view an increasing level number as progression— even without free packs.
