Re: Why do people land Frag when they're terrible

@blackeyeriver

So if, out of 23,000+ matches, I've no-filled maybe 10%, then I'm lying when I say I mostly drop alone in the other 20,000 matches? Or I'm lying when I say I no-fill at all? Not really following that. Here's the breakdown, since it seems that the confusion frustrates you:

I sometimes, though not often, no-fill. It's not because I don't want to screw over squadmates - they mostly do a fantastic job of screwing themselves over. No, I do it mostly because it can get tiresome watching inexperienced players self-destruct.

The majority of my matches are full-squad. I almost never drop with the squad. This you already know. What I'm unclear on is why you seem to take that as a personal affront. If you'd like to have a discussion about what it means to play a team-based game, or the role of personal responsibility in a team environment, then that's a discussion we can have. In the mean time: different players have different philosophies of how to handle different situations. We won't always agree on how things should be done, or even on the meaning of specific words, such as "team." For me, "team" means "you're on your own until you can prove to me that your judgment is sound enough to keep all of us alive for as long as possible." Sorry if you find that offensive. Think of me as a shelter dog who doesn't like anyone to come too close because experience has shown me that it's a bad idea. Don't know if the analogy helps at all, but I think it's a good one.
