Re: Why do people say a smaller tv/monitor is better for playing Apex?
Gamers who use monitors/small TVs sit at less than arm's reach from the screen. Going from playing on a home TV to playing on a high quality 27" monitor changed my game completely. I'm an older player like yourself, and wear my strong reading glasses when playing. I can see SO much more than when I was on a TV. I would literally never go back to playing that way, I'd rather not play.
