Re: Will there be solo queing mode?!

This "No-Fill" mode sounds a lot like they're going to keep everything literally exactly the same, and you'll be placed into teams of 3 where everyone has selected "No-Fill", and there's no dropmaster everyone just drops solo. 

Really sounds like they're jumping through several hoops to screw over people who want to play solo instead of, you know, giving us a solo mode. Don't worry though, there's going to be a ton of shills who uncritically and unironically praise the idea, then turn around and complain that their teammates are garbage. 

Edit: "We're Respawn, and we're so in touch with our community that we're going to create an entirely new mode for people who want to play solo instead of re-releasing the solos mode we already made which was extremely popular despite the loot box controversy that we had! Remember to buy 40 dollar bundles for recolors of skins that we've already released, while we subsequently ignore audio, server performance, hit-reg, net-code, and SBMM problems for 7 seasons. Does that sound bad? Don't worry, our rabid team of unpaid corporate shills who do nothing but shut down any and all criticism of Apex will change your mind after they scream obscenities to you on Reddit and spout the same tired rhetoric over and over to anyone who criticizes anything!"

    @pastaclown It's a bs way of addressing what we've been asking for. Maybe if enough of us complain about it when it comes out they might actually stop being lazy and do it.

    @GH0STEDbyME I doubt it. People've been asking for solos since the game started, and I mean LITERALLY since the game started. There was a thread posted on here a day after or the day of launch asking for it. 

    The devs just ignore it because they believe their vision of how the game should be played is more important than what a portion of their player-base wants. IF it was an insignificant portion of people statistically for an obscure request, then yeah not putting in whatever they're asking for would make sense. But the Iron Crown event was extremely popular, even with the lootbox controversy, and that's reason enough to put in solos permanently. Not to mention the added benefits of re-attracting players who've quit due to the lack of solos and frustrating SBMM. Even then, most if not all major BR games (Fortnite, PUBG, Cuisine Royale, Warzone) has solos too, so why doesn't Apex? People spout the line, "Its a team game" but next to nothing about Apex broke when solos was introduced with the Iron Crown event, and the developers have even said that Apex itself is 80% about gun-play, and 20% about the characters, meaning if they really wanted to, they could've put in a character-less solos mode for people without much overall loss.

    It just rolls back around to the devs thinking their vision of how the game should be played is more important than what a large portion of their player-base wants. We've seen how well their "vision" plays with the S6 shield changes and with the crafting system. I'd love to see how the devs actually play their game, if they can even play well at all. I saw one dev say on Twitter, "Yeah we play our game, every night I get matched up against Predators.", and I was just wondering, "Are you matched against Predators because you're Predator level, or because you play so poorly your matchmaking system decided to tack you onto a high skill player for an 'easy win'?"
