- @DankToliet Possibly? The reasons for bans are usually pretty vague. If it happens just make another account and continue playing, just keep in mind that you shouldn't buy the battle pass on future accounts/current accounts if you do get banned for that. No reason to reward a company that refuses to hold toxic hot droppers accountable.
- DankToliet4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Danon72 So you could possibly get banned just for wanting to play smart. They kept on saying "its not like it's ranked," sorry if I like to practice in pubs for ranked.
I mean you could really go hotdrop in TRIOS especially if someone in team wants that and youre loosing no points like in ranked if you loose so why being selfish to those who wanna instant fight right ? This is what is making TRIOS so fun. You can drop few meters away so you all can get guns, but dropping somewhere in the middle of nowhere in TRIOS I dont really see the point of this. People like to fight and thats why they dont play ranked (just like me), we just dont like looting simulatoer if you know what I mean... I dont think you can get banned for it and I dont think they really reported you, they were just messing with you. :D
- DankToliet4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Awhoo_Thunder it's not fun to spend more time in the lobby than actual gameplay when you hot drop. No one is good enough to hot drop and come out alive 10/10 times. I'd love to see the k/d of these hot droppers.
@Awhoo_ThunderI mean you should never hot drop really, the game engine doesn't support it (look up how the Prediction Engine works in Apex and you'll know why). People who hot drop don't really fight, they kinda just die, leave and requeue. I would prefer to force that person to drop in the middle of no where and show them that matches where they live for more than 10 seconds are so much more fun. Plus it's nice to get XP and loot packs, rather than hot drop, die and give someone else the free XP, cause most hot droppers will only ever be bullet sponges for people with better/faster connections to the Apex server.
- @DankToliet How did you know someone reported you?

Trust me I dont really spend more time in lobbies than in fights. 🙂 You get used to it and then you always survive if you want to or you can take the risk and go in like crazy if you find R99. You just need to adjust your playstyle to a gun youve found. Also legends with some ability to escape (Pathfinder, Loba ets...) are best.
TRIOS is just fun and I dont really blame anyone who cant see the point of dropping in middle of nowhere... But I get your point. 🙂
Ironically I mostly die in first fight after dropping in middle of nowhere and looting for hours than in a hotdrop... :D
You need to see that from their point of view, they could be employees who dont have hours to loot, they have one or two hours of gaming per day and they play TRIOS to have fun, otherwise they would play ranked so thats why I think its respectful to them just go hotdrop if someone wants to even if you dont want to. 🙂
- @Awhoo_Thunder I mean if you are dying to the first engagement from landing in the middle of no where, that's a skill issue. Just use Recon legends and make sure you engage on your terms first. They shouldn't even be able to fire back at you if done right. Just grab a Longbow and hit your shots, which will be technically possible from a game engine perspective if it's just two teams engaging vs. seven teams.
- @Awhoo_Thunder You may not but most ppl die in seconds off hot drop.
