This NEEDS to be addressed, having these popular streamers using SMURF accounts to, “create content” needs to STOP.It’s encouraging & validating people to create more SMURF accounts, thereby rendering your Matchmaking system irrelevant…Just watched a popular streamer, who has been playing APEX for a long time, and his account lvl is 61?!These Streamers should be ashamed of themselves, gaming the matchmaking system so they can trample on less skilled players…. Its like sending a pro athlete to play against 1st graders…I’m honestly disgusted that this has been going on for so long.

@Gabrielmojo26 A lot of people, just regular players, use smurfs to play ranked with friends. I don't see Respawn taking any hard stance against that. And I see the same stuff in other shooters, so doubt anything concrete will be doneOne solution would be 'rank calibration'- oh, look this guy just dropped 20 kills, 5k dmg in Bronze. Straight to Plat IV(preds get demoted to Plat II after reset)But, would that really solve that big chunk of the problem? Imo the number of people who get demoted to lower tiers just cause they took ranked break for a split(like me) or even a season outweighs the number of smurfs. I was Diamond first split S9, currently I am in silver. Most of the silvers can't shoot straight, it's like playing pubs.My teammate was a Lvl 15 with 4k badge, I flew him off the map. But I am in silver doing the same thing that he is trying to, only difference is I am on my main. My 3rd is an idiot who rezzed him, so here we go....

@SILVERisSORRY I can definitely see both sides when it comes to this issue but yeah that's respawn's current take on the subject. Had a friend who was late to the apex party and was quickly discouraged because of the smurfs. We can't invite him because he's just gonna get rolled in our lobbies but if we make smurf accounts ourselves then we'll become what we hate.

@Gabrielmojo26 There's honestly not much they can do for one smurf account anyway. The person could simply say, "what? that account belongs to my brother/son/sister/mother/father/grandpa/grandma. Are they not allowed to play on my laptop?"On the other hand, a player who has 10+ smurf accounts obviously knows what they're trying to do, so it's easier to ban them justifiably.

@BaldWraithSimpHere’s another unpopular opinion, I am one to praise a rank re-structure, and not only because the pros are asking for it.I do have a buddy that just started playing Apex, he was asking why is it he's playing against really good players with "the pile of skulls badge" every other game....lol

@SILVERisSORRY, unfortunately, they are considered influencers, and everything they do people will try to copy.
i agree , no one should be allowed to stomp on new players and I don't know how some people live with it ...it feels so BAD when you find unlucky players who got matched in a higher lobby and when you watch how they move and loot while looking at each item trying to figure out what is it for
and when they get knocked they will be facing the wall just waiting to die and maybe thinking ( screw this game is so unfair and not fun ).
it breaks my heart seriously ☹️
Note: sometimes new players can get in high-level lobbies because they match with a friend

@SILVERisSORRY According to Hideouts, if they'll do the bronze to masters/pred challenge, it's fine but if they do it just to stomp on bot lobbies then he'll ban them.

“Okay then im going to start a new challenge, its called the HAVOC only challenge, but I can use strike packs to give it NO Recoil.”

@SILVERisSORRYI agree with smurfs. What stinks more than smurfs is how they handle them now. Basically the sbmm ramps ultra fast after having a few decent games. So an actual new player who is naturally good gets punished really quick, which is wrong too. This probably hurts new players more than the actual smurfs.

If it is the timmy account he used to get to pred that account will already be in advanced lobbies. But I agree it shouldnt be allowed.

I was playing in(stomping) some Bronze/Silver lobbies a few days ago. Also, played against lvl 30 enemies in Arena ranked. No smurf account needed(tier demotion stacked) , Apex ranked system is not the pinnacle of competitive matchmaking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s a little contradicting considering you can literally report for ‘smurfing’.
It sets a precedent, which anyone can now debate by saying ‘I was just trying to do the Bronze to Pred challenge’.
It also downplays wtv EA user agreement methods players utilize to report, cause we all know reporting them won’t do anything.
But hey, don’t you dare slip a little curse word, cause you’ll catch that ban in a heart beat.
