Short and sweet stories:

1. My team was doing really well, up until the last squad. We had fought off multiple squads and gotten a lot of kills, and had just barely survived another third party attempt. As we out-run the ring, the final squad pulls up and starts wailing on us. Our spot in the zone was a tiny little area with minimal cover, so I do what anyone with more than 2 braincells does, and start scrambling for a better position. I do this by hopping in a nearby Trident, and spamming the "Get in losers" key while taking fire and PURPOSELY blocking my teammates line of sight to the enemy. They refuse to get in. I speed off on my own because I'm low health, get to a much better position, my teammates get pushed and die after getting their shields cracked due to lack of cover. I chastise them, and quit the match.

2. I join lobby, I hear someone feebly whimper into the mic, "If you get shot don't leave immediately please. I've gotten to 2nd place like 8 times." Okay, fair. A fight breaks out, I down all 3 targets and secure one kill with 50 damage after said teammate hits them. 2 of the targets was just me and my third fighting, while microphone man is LOOTING. I chastise them for it, and they break out into a rage immediately cursing and screaming about how "WELL, I HIT THAT LIFELINE FOR 90 DAMAGE YOU MOTHER F___ER", and honestly I immediately muted them once I heard their tone get aggressive. Guy was level 500 complaining about leavers, and I know for a fact that's the kind of person who doesn't want solos because they want all the wins without doing ANY of the work, because they immediately as Horizon after raging about how I stole a kill used their tactical to hop over a wall and fall to their death, then immediately left. A whiny little man baby is what that guy was, and genuinely the best laugh of my S7 experience easily.

2.a. They're level 500, complaining about leavers. But they purposely left their teammates to fight so they could loot a kill that was "stolen" despite both people shot the same target at the same time. Upon being criticized for it (with my exact words being, "'don't leave when shot, is looting while teammates are fighting'"), breaks out into a rage, purposely kills themselves, and quits. The biggest reason people want solos is to escape people like this dude, and this dude has so little self-awareness they just don't understand that they're the crappy teammate that people will genuinely leave early because of. I couldn't shoot straight for a minute cause I was giggling, like that kind of behavior is embarrassing, it's like, not even a surprise they're complaining about leavers.

@pastaclown I almost had an exact same situation, except we weren't top 2, but top 3 or 4. They didn't want to get in so I drove away, healed up and those 2 got railroaded by 2 teams... I of course unmuted mic and gave them some stern wordings... and left. Can't be bothered to play and in the slight chance secure a win for such individuals.

Lolz that's a weird situation XD. Usually the ones who say "don't leave" in my experience are the ones who wanna secure a win badly and are altruistic :O

Now, my second match went like this:

We land at Docks. One team besides us. I gear up like you should do, find bare minimum weapons to fight with in 1 building so have to open bins and find not much better until I go to other building and find some stuff... At that moment the enemy engages us, but teammate Octane downs one. I come to help but hear one trying to flank so I try to flank that person. While doing so, the third shoots me so I have to hide for a second at which point Octane goes down. I down one but can't get to the last one cause I have to heal. Teammate 2 (Horizon) goes down as well... But I see the last person and do lil bit of damage and kill her.

So I revive and all that good stuff. So we head for circle. We go inside turbine... once again... and wouldn't you know it, Octane way in front for some reason. By the time me and Horizon basically enter Turbine, he's halfway across shooting at enemies. He didn't down an enemy but mortally wounded him. By the time Horizon gets to him (as I keep my distance as I don't know where the enemies are exactly, how many or if there are other squads nearby) he is thirsted. The Horizon kills one instantly, so I figure that that's the last one...

Boy was I wrong, when I get closer I hear another team nearby on the outside of turbine, but we have the banner so I go to the shipping containers section which has no name, but it's right next to that long shiplike thing that eventually leads to those hotdrop towers. There I respawn him with 4 full other squads besides us... I see a care package, go there (150m away from respawn and opposite side of his box) and ping it. This guy starts running towards his box where enemies are and where the storm will hit first. I unmute my mic and say "Don't go there, there's a care package here and enemies there". In the care package was purple armor and bag. Guy Octane's towards his box and gets taken out... I say "Should've listened you useless teammate".

I ping where I am for the Horizon... What does she do? Goes to the same place to retrieve this idiots box... Gets taken out as well by 3 guys. I sit in my chair baffled at the stupidity. I'm thinking, well both PSNers... maybe in a party. Nope, 10 secs after the Horizon goes down she leaves. Meanwhile Octane starts pinging his deathbox... I say "Do you really think I'm gonna get your box?" So I let his box run out while those 3 squads are still single firing ARs/sniping each other. After that he leaves.

I play it smart and watch the teams engaging. When I think it's my time to shine, I chuck my caustic gas but hit nobody... was a really bad throw, but I thought ppl were camping there. I only saw 1 name in kill feed. That person killed alot of ppl in the end.

So storm is coming, I'm inside, they are not. I chuck arc stars and nades. I struck one, took her out with my non-turbocharged havoc (of which I spend the whole freaking game searching and kept pinging it for my teammates). Next was bloodhound who came running, took him out as well... lastly came the person who I kept seeing in killfeed... I had to reload, cause I only had a hammerpointed p2020 as sidearm and didn't want to use it cause I knew that lifeline was gonna be red evo... well, she came right up when I was smackdab in the middle of reloading and struck me before the animation was done. But by that time I started panicking and missed all my shots cause I forgot that I had the havoc and not a weapon that shoots instantly and she took me out...

Upon seeing that I looked at the lvls of my teammates. Lvl 500 horizon & lvl 490 Octane. I wondered how they both could've been so stupid at that lvl but honestly I've seen it more times than I can count... People over lvl 200 (which isn't high) so lets say 300 who have done such stupid things that you just wondered how long it took for them to get to lvl 300...

If you're wondering why I didn't place gas traps... I didn't know where the third teammate would come from and I was really hoping that it'd just be those 2... XD. Also I didn't want to alert them that the last person alive was a caustic... if only had I not thrown my ult and I might've won...

Won a game like that yesterday when both teammates left and I got the win on my own by basically throwing gas at the last person, prior to shooting his just-revived-by-him teammate :P

  Down to us v them near that big hole with a tight ring. One of my squad was eliminated and the other had just got knocked. With the ring closing in I had two choices: engage in the ring or run away. I chose the latter and took the grapple across the big hole. I turned, fully expecting the enemy squad to be grappling after me...
  ... we were the Champions! The ring had got them and we won by my cowardice!
  Rev is having a fine time at the moment, lots of full squads wipes plus two Silence kills in two days 🙂
