@apostolateofDOOM I think the hit box increase is definitely required. When I play as Wraith so many people struggle to hit her. They rarely break my armor in 1 magazine in ranked.
She is absolutely tiny and can hide behind almost everything on the map. Heck she can almost hide behind a death box. If she is standing behind a down teammate who has their knock down shield active a small portion of her head is visible and can be hit.
I do think they will have to revert some of the low profile changes they have made to her. When I play her if enemies do not miss shots, she stands no chance at all. The math on damage received proves this as well. Compare a Bangalore to Wraith, the TTK to kill the wraith will be substantially lower IF the Bangalore misses no shots. There is no way the Wraith will win unless the Bangalore is missing shots or is using a really bad gun with a low DPS. When you're in high skill lobbies it shows just how weak Wraith is.
In my opinion the different hit box sizes is not the greatest part of Apex. You have different TTK for each legend and different DPS with each gun against each legend. The entire idea being that is equaled out by enemies missing shots. In medium to low skill lobbies it works, in high skill lobbies it does not. People in high skill lobbies don't miss shots. I quit playing wraith a few seasons ago because I kept getting destroyed by people who missed no shots.
While the legends might run at the same speed, the movement is not the same. Gibi and Caustic get stuck on so many things on the map. Wraith almost never gets stuck. It's often what decides close fights. Looting is also much slower and difficult as a bigger legend, you basically have to look at the ground as you loot. Wraith does not..
Then there is a good old ADS.. If I ADS at a wraith my gun is going to aim right above her head. I basically have to look towards the ground to hit her.
How ever I see one big issue with all legends having the same or very similar hit box sizes. It will then boil down to abilities and abilities entirely. Wraith will still be a top pick because of her passive and tactical.
I do not think they should revert her tactical changes (at least to much). It annoyed me so much when I would arc star a wraith.. She'd hit her tactical and the arc star would disappear. If she gets stuck with an arc star she should not be able to escape it.
