I see your point, but if you get the same lobbies, don't you find that a little annoying always having to try your best...in pubs? It's called public for a reason, everyone can join regardless of their ranking or skill level.
My point is:
Ranked - hard Sbmm
Public - no Sbmm or genuine Sbmm that makes your teammates and enemies as skilled as the person playing?
And I know that most of the players are .8 to 1.2 kd so you would match with them very often, but it's not like one pred is going to destroy everyone.
And no I don't really find it annoying, it's a battle Royale and most people are playing to win and trying their best. That doesn't mean i can't mess around and have a good time, i just won't be playing to win

- @mikkeltorne1 you wont get similar skilled opponents, that was just a phony marketing lie from Respawn ... it simply doesnt work that way bcs itztimmy and alike would have to wait 30mins+ for a match ... and thats bad advertisement for the game.
I qoute the infamous Matchmaking blogpost :
"To be fair, the following is not exactly what happens in the actual algorithm, since we also need to consider queue times and other variables outside of skill rating."
Since those "other variables" never got explained, it leaves the door wide open for a rigged matchmaking speculations (eg. pay to win, stream to win, you name it).
Also the well know internet fact plays a role here : if somethings is free to play/use ... you are most likely the product !

Hopefully It can't get any worse...right? What was the problem with the old sbmm system? I remember the games in pubs being much more enjoyable in season 1-10 then now.
But of course, tap strafing, wall jumping and so on was not that prominent in the game.
