Honestly tho, I've been playing Ash for a month and my most hated legend right now is Horizon. She's absolutely impossible to chase down if played by someone good. The no shock fall and instant height every 20 seconds get really out of hand.
All these people that think they are gonna gut Valk are in for disappointment. She sells skins like crazy, and the Oceania folks love her (as well as weebs).
The most they will likely do is remove the scan on drop, beacon scanning, and make her an attacker like they should have.
I will point out, AGAIN, that she is one of the very few characters whose passive (and remember what passive means) that requires manual activation. That requires you to practice with it to get the benefits, instead of, you know, just AIMING like Gibby or getting shot at or aimed at like Bang or Wraith.
@KyldenarShe sells skins like crazy because she's the easiest/most overpowered Legend in the game. Double jumping for her manual passive doesn't take any practice. Getting high ground and angles that are straight impossible for most of the roster is pretty insane.
They're not going to gut her, but enjoy her brokenness while it lasts. She's going to be toned down I promise. To what degree, I'm not sure but to even the playingfield a little bit.
And that's why her heirloom is next, gotta capitalize on the Valk bandwagon first. They won't nerf her until after it's released or risk sales.
Could be, but I think the Valk design is just so good for sales, what 7 year old kid doesn't like jet packs lol? Hence why I think she's intentionally made to be this way.
@hayhorJust wait until ALGS, not exaggerating but I expect to see Valk in 100% of squads.
@DankToliet Actually the only legend that's in every ALGS team is Gibby (and maybe not even him). Am i the only one that finds it so easy to shoot a Valk using her passive? Lol
@Cro_PitttWeird because I just looked up the ALGS 21-22 Split 2 pick rates and Gib had a 98.8% and Valk had 97.61% pick rate. Soooo yeah, you were wrong there.
Split 1 Gibby had 100% and Valk 87.1% Seeing that split 2 happened after split 1, you can see that Valk inclusion into almost every team dramatically increased.

Nope. Even though I enjoy her a lot, flying without feathering the boosters is a death sentence. My overall KDR has gone up since she released just because every time someone tries flying off with her without cover like they are running Octane speed, I just turn it into a clay pigeon shoot. Peacekeeper or Hemlock will make short work of her even with my bad aim.I can only assume better players find it easier which is why all my flight is short controlled bursts over and into cover.
Got a lot of kills on final Valks in squads thinking they are gonna grab team banners and run (or just run).
She still needs to be stripped of all Scout traits and made an Attacker, like she should have been in the first place. Just too much in the package.

You fail to understand the important part -
Respawn Devs no longer get to make the big choices or promises.
EA will have them do what EA thinks will sell the most lootboxes and skins.
Frankly, I think they should bring back Low Profile, it can help balance the ones with stupidly small hitboxes.
@KyldenarLOL thats like half a Gib compared to Valks OVERALL in picks in the ALGS. You can't look at those stats and completely ignore that Valk is picked just as much because you're in love with her.
My next unlock will be Valkyrie for sure. They might nerf her scan or something but all game companies will allow over powered (OP) items and characters go for a long time prior to making any nerfs. They know leaving the OP objects in game makes players want them. Once they study the trends of the metrics, the object will get the nerf bat. The people who have the OP item will rage and hulk out, unless there is new OP item to replace it. I didn't arrive for the Seer issues I have been told about, but according to my sources he got the nerf bat the last time.
