Half the people that go off solo in rounds are doing it for those challenges. I've had quite a few the last 24 hours, well I need to open loot bins over there, get knocks over here or something along those lines..

I only play with friends.They ask if we can go here for X or Y challenge.Sure we say.Friends are good.

@DarthValtrex They can think of adding team challenges, 1 per match, like "inflict XXXX damage combined in area XYZ" "or "get X kills / knockdowns total in area XYZ", "open 3 bins each in zones X, Y and Z", etc.. These kind of challenges could be very good communication starters.

@Jimmahwd I’ve been trying to but my friends are not always on.

@DarthValtrex Sucks huh?I've made a heap of friends in Apex.Some good, some terrible.

@Jimmahwd I always have 10-30 friends on apex but most are already in parties.I’ve gotten to the point with the solo droppers, i just leave the match before I even drop. Most don’t even ping a location. I really don’t care where we land, i end up completing the challenges without trying.

Should they remove location specific challenges?

@DarthValtrex I think it depends on where you stand and if you’re with friends. I personally don’t mind them.

If I’m jumpmaster I tend to go where I like to go (aka mirage voyage) unless someone’s quick enough to ping somewhere else that isn’t fracture west or east or skyhook. But not everybody’s that gracious so yea... it’s either asking if they need to go somewhere or hope they don’t. I do understand the frustration behind the question tho

If you’re with friends like @Jimmahwd said, it really doesn’t matter.

Yup, location based challenges, but must be completed as a squad. The problem is some would just quit if the squad didn't land there.(casual solo players)

I don't like location based challenge as well, especially when you have to knockdown in certain location.
For example, knockdown in Dome. It's not a favorite place to land so :
1. It's hard to convience my team mate to land there.
2. If I jump master, and dome is far or end of the map, no body land there ???
3. The ring rarely closing over there as well.
I've to keep repeating and that could take 10-15 attempts.
I think they should totally remove location based challenge. It's totally not fun and ruin the experience.

Most are online just not in Apex and those few who are are playing with others...

Even adding randoms now but have to unadd after some days cuz they never invite/party up... such a shame
