Made an account just to figure out my issue and most likely won’t come back if i fix it.
My game has been stuck of the loading screen every time i open my save and had been like this for around an hour if i add up the separated times. I’ve reinstalled the game, deleted my mods, and nothing is working. How do i fix this?
I have been having this same exact issue for the past few days. I have tried everything too; repairing my game, deleting mods, trying other saves to see if it was a corrupt save, clearing the cache, updated my laptop. Still an endless loading screen. It will load in just fine till I click resume game and then it gets stuck.
V1en_11 Please try loading a different household within the same save, using Load Game rather than Resume. If that doesn't work, try a new save, for comparison's sake.
If loading the other household does work, play it for a few sim-hours, then try to load your main one. If you still can't, quit and reload, use Load Game, and move your main household to a different lot. This is to test whether the problem is the sims or their house; you don't need to save your progress.
wisepoppy11553 When you say you've tried other saves, do they load or not? Can you load a different household within an affected save? What about a new save?
If you can't load any saves at all, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
