@DoYaSeeMeThat's a fair argument for the lvl cap requirement. But you can't just let a Lvl 1 jump in there with no experience. As for experienced player, I am sure there are not a lot of them who have to create new account to play with friends and this can be easily fixed by sending them to experienced pubs lobbies if they post highly disproportionate result(Valorant has this system both in ranked and pubs).
Let's say I am in a beginner lobby. I carry my teammate to win with crazy kills and dmg. Teammates are happy, but there are still 57 other beginners in the lobby. Lets assume one game doesn't affect the 57 players, but the real problem arises when they have to go through the same thing over and over again. The current tier demotion stacks up and a lot of people end up in lobbies they don't belong.
My suggestion is simple -
Preds/Master not below Plat, Diamonds not below gold(cuz you already get demoted 1.5 tier). Even if I don't play ranked for a season and keep playing only pubs or heck I quit for a season entirely, my skill wont reduce to that of a bronze player. That's just bad design tbh.
Players can quite litterally not lose points in bronze. There are likely far fewer smurfs in bronze and silber than most people think. Anyone who is smurfing or who has been reset multiple times to end up so low will climb extremely quickly. Even if you do die so a smurf it really doesnt mattee because you dont lose anything. You may as well treat bronze like its a pub tbh. If you think you cant climb because of smurfs its actually just an issue with your own mindset and or play.
