Sorry to rain on your parade, but Wildcard is nothing more than the latest double-down on trying to turn a battle royale game into an arena shooter. But I guess that's what kids want these days: gimmicks and crutches. More power to them and to you.

And the ranked balancing will fail almost as soon as it's begun. All those diamond players who are breathing a sigh of relief right now are going to find out on day one that they're suddenly playing exclusively against fellow diamonds and platinums... except the gameplay will be the identical instant deletes as before because they'll be playing the same masters and preds as before, except those masters and preds will be on secondaries to beat the matchmaker. Because they're special and shouldn't have to wait longer for matches just because they can afford better cheats.

Sorry to be so pessimistic, but this is just more distraction to convince people they're doing something when in fact they're doing almost nothing at all except sabotaging their own gameplay with ridiculous legend updates and poor gameplay decisions.
