If I remember correctly... auto sprint works by pressing thumbstick and you can release your controller and your character will run forever.
Here auto run means you just don’t have to click but have to push forward...
it is... auto run, but it’s not auto run...
Yeah I was noticing that too. I was thinking it would be auto-run but it's just auto sprint. I don't know why they can't just add in an auto-run button and save my thumb.
This pressing left stick forward continously (to RUN) break my PS4 controller, now it has tendency to go up all the time ☹️
In other game:
1. to walk, you move stick slightly up
2. to run, you move stick max up (but you don't have to press down). // I think Apex should implement this option.
So i havent tried it yet.Does it make you sprint with the slightest input? If so i'll be avoiding...kinda hard to creep folk if you're constantly noisy as hell haha.
There is also a other auto sprint coming in a in future patch.

That's exactly what the new feature does, you sprint automatically at full tilt forward, and less than full tilt is normal speed, and less than half is sneaking.
It's good the way it is now, my left thumb will no longer feel like I hit myself with a hammer, and I can use the L3 keybind to use healing item now, which is sweet.

@MandatoryIDtagit’s just as wingmannedbro stated. Except for crouching I believe. If you crouch and full on tilt the analog stick you still crouch
What do you mean what "we" meant with auto sprint?
Cause that was mostly me being vocal about that and I got exactly what I wanted. Works great this way.
What did you think auto sprint would mean, other than automatically sprinting without needing to toggle it on with a button press?
I think this is a case of you being confused, and really not something the devs did.
