the third-person view is not a thing that I like ( I hate Fortnite) but from the very few clips I watched the game felt very fluid and smooth, and I have a feeling that it will be released with MNK support so it will be a blast.
anyways, this game can not be compared to Apex as it's totally different but it might replace it for some people if it proves that it's more fun and less stressful
I'm trying to crash out Spiderman Miles Morales (PS5) & I'm about 3/4 through the game (close to getting a Platinum on it as well) & will delete the game once I've completed it to create some much needed space on my PS5HD for the silly season in games releases up until Xmas.I'm a few hours into playing Aliens Fireteam (PS5) which is a pretty decent game so far,it's not as good as I hoped it would be & purely as an 'Aliens' game it's not a patch on Alien Isolation. Also playing through Resident Evil; The Village (PS5) which is good but doesn't hold a candle to Resi 7.My copy of Deathloop (PS5) keeps looking at me with those 'puppy dog eyes' begging me to play it.
As for upcoming games I seriously hope that Fifa 22 turns out to be good (or just better than Fifa 19,20 & 21) with it's much hyped 'hypermotion engine' but Far Cry 6 & Riders Republic are my 2 must-have games this year as well as Back 4 Blood (I'm hopeful about).
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Redmattgame Fifa 22 will be like the rest. Start off promising, people complain they cant do their fancy moves, patches come and ruin the game. Why I did not buy 21 and will not buy 22.

@Redmattgame Oh wow. I quit FIFA about 2-3 months ago. I have been playing for years but the toxic play and douchebags in the FIFA community finally just did my head in. Had a particular toxic game and quit and have not been back since. Zero regrets. People aren't interested in a game of footy - they just want to see how much they can make the game suck for you. This can be addressed but EA choose not to.

Last Fifa game I bought was Fifa 20 which I think was the version they effectively made all players run at the same speed & where the slowest defenders could catch up with the speedy attacking players & the goalkeepers were as much use as a traffic cone in goal there was also an issue with players continuously being offside. And whilst I mainly played Fifa with friends & family where we would create our own World Cup & Champion League tournaments I was addicted to playing Ultimate Team & the various challenges around it where you could add legendary to your squad.I just felt at times certain matches felt like a giant con (particularly against AI at World class & Legendary opposition modes) where I'd dominate teams with 80%+ possession & twenty plus shots but could never score & the opposition would score a winner from a last minute penalty (usually conceded by one of my AI teammates clumsy tackles). When I heard substantial rumours online about matches on UT big fixed/rigged with pre-determined results before matches & that persuaded me to take an extensive break from the game.
Regarding Fifa 22 though I am pretty dubious about the game considering EA's reluctance to not have a demo out to play before the game is released is a little cause for concern. All the reviews so far have suggested whilst the game aesthetically looks good (particularly on next gen consoles) the game plays considerably slower than previous games where the game has more emphasis on passing the ball & less on dribbling around players which to be honest has me on the fence.Pro Evolution Soccer always played a better game of football for me but the lack of modes & licenses was always a turn-off for many & even that franchise lost it's way gameplay wise a few years ago. Konami opting to ditch the Pro Evo name for E-Football & making it a free to play game stuffed to the gills with micro-transactions to buy teams, modes, players etc has probably kiled off the franchise for good leaving Fifa the only football game across the formats for the foreseeable (shame).Bring back sensible soccer is what I say.
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Redmattgame Every fifa feels slower at the start because people are used to 99 rated players to end the previous one. My friend is saying there is more emphasis on passing right now but knows the skill spam patch will come. lol
