I managed to get 100% completion (& a Platinum) in both AC;Origins & AC;Odyssey with Odyssey taking just over 100 hours.Although there was loads of meaningless grindy levels but most of the time was spent exploring & conquering the vast array of islands & forts & discovering artefacts & trinkets.Valhalla was the first PS5 game I installed & played when I got my PS5 in May but less than 4 hours later I uninstalled the game it was awful.Graphically the game looks the part with vast snow-filled scenery but the game just felt like a bug-filled mess (not quite as buggy a Apex though) where I'd often find fellow clan/tribe members would get stuck on scenery or just freeze when on a siege or infiltrating an enemy camp.Gameplay just felt so slow with no improvements (much needed) whatsoever made to the often primitive & restrictive nature when attacking the enemy/enemies & locking on to them.
- 4 years ago@Redmattgame I have 94% of the achievements in Odyssey. I never went for full 100%, just wanted to have fun. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is also sitting at 92%, maybe I should look forward to unlock the few remaining achievements at this point.
I used to go for some Platinum trophies back in the PS3 days. I had 5 of them. I almost got 6 but I couldn't get it. Last remaining trophy was ridiculously hard. I am talking about completing the co-op missions in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. That was pain. - 4 years ago
@AcidicSoda44031I used to have a bit of an obsession regarding trophies across the PS formats & have clocked up 18 Platinum's & rather liked the old levelling system regarding trophies.I have to say I hate the new levelling system they changed it to over a year or so ago rendering it rather meaningless now.
There are a fair amount of games that earning the precious Platinum trophy is perfectly doable in 1-2 playthroughs but there are other games that are just damn impossible to get that 100% because of the ridiculously hard (even impossible) challenges they set.Wolfenstein 2;The New Colossus is a game that comes to mind where only 0.1% of players have got a Platinum trophy (to this day) & labelled Ultra Rare.In 2 complete playthroughs of the game I earned 98% of all trophies with the only one eluding me was to complete the game on the hardest setting in one setting without dying once.Absolutely no chance with more chance of finding unicorn sh@t than completing that. - Lord_Scorpion344 years agoLegend
