So why can’t we bind different buttons to certain actions?

It’s so frustrating having every in-game action being bound to ‘square’ or whatever the Xbox/ PC equivalent is

Anyone else sick of trying to reload but pick up a teammates banner by mistake so now you can’t use your gun until the animation has finished, or recently tried to reload but you get pulled onto one of those replicator pods instead 

or when you try and revive a teammate or self Rez yourself behind a closed door but the revive button also opens the door!
