@TheRealUth I jump solo now in ranked most times! I'll press B for solo drop at the start and then have a look where the other 2 are going and if it looks ok to me I'll join them. If not off I go to have a fun run. More often than not they are dead within a minute. I've played too many games losing points to care about little feelings in a squad jump in ranked.
- @OldTreeCreeper You’re part of the problem, maybe in a 3v3 instead of a 3v2 they’d live, but you want to drop solo to camp for placement it seems.
@Kevin-c946 I dont think you read my post. Your 3v2 hypothetical is a nonsence. I tried and tried with many many team drops (this isnt my first season of ranked) and they still died within a minute.
What do you suggest I do? Lose all my ranked points? I've played 1'000's of games and patterns emerge to the observent.
There is no problem as you suggest, as there are no rules in this regard, and Respawn have even kindly provided a solo jump button! 😛
You will learn the way of the creeper in ranked soon enough, when you lose more of your hard won points. Come back and talk to me then about further alternative steatigies, I could suggest for you to try.
If my team would just listen for people or look around for people. Communicate enemy locations and wait for the whole team to regroup from looting to engage. The team is usually always split up in some degree. BUT NOOOO. I get the teammates that just start fighting no matter what, even if they could clearly change positions while waiting for back up. They always die getting teamed, so why would I expect that team member to be able to 3 v ANYONE. then its up to me to take on WHO KNOWS how many full squads to get your banner? If I play with randos in a free-to-play shooter trying to rank? I'll try to run it up, but i will abandon anyone who will get me killed because of their "boredom" slacker performances. Plus finding a stray solo for easy kills is kinda fun 😉
