@EPS1234 I thought he was very calm throughout the stream, what I watched of it. He had some real nonsence coming through at times and I thought he did very well to maintain his composure for the length of time that he was streaming.

So Professional player reaches his level in 34h on what is designed by game devs to take 40 days (due to this season split).
I usually stop playing when I reach gold because I dont want to sweat about it and currently after 10 days I am already at silver 2.
So the ranked seems too easy climb now if the idea is that I have 40 days to reach my actual rank. Or maybe it isnt my actual rank, who knows.
Because of the above, I would change ranked so that your rank is based on your RP value on overall leaderboard and ranked badges are then distributed when the split ends per percentage for each RP span. You only get to know your rank when the split ends.
So if I dont keep playing to gain RP people might pass me and I drop to silver. This would prevent smurfing multiple accounts to masters as you have to maintain it to actually get the badge.It gets way more difficult in gold atm, I'm sure it's going to be even more difficult than that if I get to plat within the period of time remaining to try and get to diamond before the spit time expires.
Fortnite operates that kind of system once you get to Unreal rank, much like masters and pred here.
Hideouts has specifically stated that the Smurf rookie to pred run is not bannable.
- @Airish85 Ranked based on playtime is simply a way to get people to keep playing. It's smart and most game companies do it. It gives the illusion of skill rating but really isn't. There are pubs only players better than many high ranked players.
@hayhor True true. My opinions are of course totally selfish 😃. I personally dont care about the ranks or badges and I play ranked because of the playstyle is different. There is more of strategic & tactical approach than in pubs gameplay.
Reason why I proposed that is because the ranked player count dies as soon as casuals achieve their predetermined ranks. Only ones left are the sweats & 3 stack streamers battling against cheaters.
@Airish85 Note to self. Dont write stuff like its too easy in Silver 2. Those devs lurking here can certainly make you play those 40 days without getting to that Gold 😃
After multiple days of very good teammates and awesome games, this evening was the opposite.
The basic understanding of what you should do in Apex or my guess that they lost consciousness midgame and faceplanted to W-key was quite common in todays teammate pool.So now I am in Silver 3 LOL XD
