I understand why they do this. They make a legend so over the top that they're a guaranteed pick on almost every squad. That means there are 20 kids in every lobby who feel like superman. A lot of happy customers, I guess is what they're thinking. Obviously that can be countered by a much larger number of people in every lobby who will end up on the wrong side of some grossly over-powered legend. But, I'm sure the thinking goes, no one is forcing people to stick to their old and now unviable legends. Which is their way of simply encouraging people to try new things. Or is it? There's a fine line between "encouraging" and "forcing." Personally I think they've crossed that line.
Being an old and obstinate person, I refuse to allow anyone to coerce me into something I don't want to do, so I respond by quitting matches where my final enemy squad has an Ash. Period. I quit those matches. Leaving my teammates out to dry. So there's your unintended consequence, Respawn. I'm sure plenty of people will accuse me of creating a toxic gaming environment, but honestly, who really created the toxic environment? The guy who quits on Ash, or the guy who created that nightmare in the first place? You already know what I think....
