Soooo...How's the new season?

Season 14 Day 1 so far in my honest opinion is okay same old same old issues though with mediocre servers & the occasional lag spikes when exchanging gunfire with the enemy.Pleased to see the Volt & particularly the G7 Scout (with the Double Tap  hop-up especially) back on the ground but I am also pleased to see Skull Piercer back (attach it to the 30/30 & it becomes a beast of a weapon) .Loot pool layout around Kings Canyon map is as bad as usual where in 1 match I was in the Skull Town knock-off area & could only find shotguns.But every player I seem to to have knocked in the half dozen matches I've played so far particularly early in the match mostly seem to be equipped with a purple knock-down shield, I mean WTF?,is this some sort of cheat in the game or something?.I got a victory with Vantage on my 2nd game playing as her with 3 kills along the way & I feel she's a mid-tier character tbh.Her Echo Launch maxes around at only 55 metres which is a little too short (in my opinion) is just an inferior version of Pathfinders Grapple Hook & her Sniper's Mark Ultimate makes for a nice 3rd weapon but all of those 5 bullets if Sniping ain't you sort of thing those 5 bullets just wont go that far.Vantage's best ability seems to be her passive Spotters Lense which effectively encloses a square target around your enemy providing you have a 2X scope or better on your weapon of choice.Spotter's Lense doesn't work with Iron Sights or 1x scopes or Digital Scopes though.I'm totally miffed by switching the ammo for the Spitfire & Wingman though & looking through the Battle Pass content certainly looks underwhelming particularly the skins & as far as Battle Passes in previous seasons go it is among the worst.

And for the 64 thousand dollar question what will the Non-BR events be I wonder?.
