@ColdHours I've been singing this from launch. Dropping together and staying close + good results.
After a frustrating few games over the weekend I eventually hit a good run of randoms in ranked. We all stayed close. Focussed fired enemies. Didn't mindlessly mimic a running simulator and won 3-4 games on the bounce.
Breaking off to far away to loot is another issue. Yes break off and don't loot the same building, but don't break off to the other side of the area for crying out loud. Also, staying together = more targets for the enemy to shoot. If you're all spread out, it's far easier for a team who are sticking close to just pick you off.
It was my first weekend back on after a few months off. The mentality hasn't changed on the whole. Still solo droppers and renegade Rambos lol.
@Silz616 I agree with this. Breaking off and looting near. I never drop in the same building as my teammates due to that fact that most of the time one of your squad will probably end up without a weapon. Dropping close but near is what I personally do unless it's a big building with lots of loot.
